Join Chef Mary Campbell for our new culinary series, Teen Chefs Cooking School! Each class will bring a new world of ingredients, spices, and techniques to up your cooking game! You will be able to take what you learn and Mary’s wonderful recipes home to share with family and friends.

September 27 Class:

Introduction to Baking – Mastering the Biscuit Method 

Students will learn about common baking ingredients including strengtheners, fats, sweeteners, leaveners, thickeners, flavorings, liquids and additives. Using this knowledge, the class will highlight common quick bread recipes used in home baking. Students will master the biscuit method by making their own Cheddar Biscuits and Lemon Scones.
