Description
There will be OPEN AUDITIONS Saturday, September 23rd for the coming 2024 winter production of “OZ”. The auditions will be held at 171 Cedar Arts Center in the DRAKE HOUSE STUDIO THEATER at 155 Cedar Street.
*REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years dance experience
- Current and continual enrollment and attendance to dance classes throughout the entire production schedule. THIS IS MANDATORY TO BE INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION.
- 8 yrs. old or older by December 1st 2023
- A commitment of attendance to rehearsals (dancers and their parents will be asked to sign a commitment contract stating they understand and accept the commitment of the rehearsal and performance schedule.)
A $60.00 audition/commitment fee will be charged at audition registration.
Saturday, September 23rd
1:00-1:20….Ages 8-9
1:20-1:40….Ages 10-11
1:40-2:00….Ages 12-14 (non-pointe dancers)
2:00-2:20….Ages 15-18 (non-pointe dancers)
2:20-2:45….Ages 12-14 (pointe dancers)
2:45-3:15….Ages 15-18 (pointe dancers)
* ALL DANCERS (INCLUDING TAPPERS and boys) SHOULD ATTEND THE SCHEDULE ABOVE. Tappers can note on the audition sheet if they are interested in a tapping part.
