In this project-based class, students brand new to clay or still developing their skills will be guided through different techniques of making with clay. Led by 171 instructors Martha Manikas-Foster and Kirk Allen, each week students will tackle a project that explores a new mode of making, developing handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques along the way. At the end of this 6 week class, students will have a basic understanding of the possibilities of clay from start to end and be able to continue on with our other clay classes with confidence!
