Explore your journey with ceramics even further with a Studio Pass! Intermediate and advanced level adult artists are welcome to use the ceramics studio with the purchase of 171’s Ceramics Studio Pass. After a brief orientation and interview with 171’s Ceramics Technician Amanda Warren, you’ll have access to the ceramics studio to create artwork at your own pace.

Studio Pass hours are listed on 171’s online calendar, and we encourage you to call ahead if you have any questions about studio availability. We make every effort to update the online calendar; however, occasionally 171 may use the studio for other activities, parties, meetings, private lessons, or rentals. Studio Pass time may be accessed when there are no classes in session; Midday Clay is the only exception, and Studio Pass holders are welcome during that time.

Seven week Ceramics Studio Passes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and do not roll-over into future sessions. The price includes one 25lb bag of clay, the use of all studio tools, glazes, and firing of work. Any additional clay needed during this time must be purchased from 171—no outside materials are allowed.

Please note: if a Studio Pass is purchased after the start of a seven week session the price will be prorated by the number of weeks remaining.
