Join 171’s Amanda Warren as she shows you an exciting new technique to make your own set of what she calls squish dishes. Amanda will walk you through how to add texture and other surface decoration onto clay and then form it into various simple shapes in a no-fuss, 100% fun way. Suitable for those twelve and up, each student will make up to 5 of their own pieces ready to contain your trinkets, jewelry, or whatever you’d like. These make for fabulous handmade gifts for any of the special people in your life and this is a great workshop for those totally new to clay as well as those who have experience.
