Pointe is an upper progression of the ballet graduated dance classes. Pointe is a positioning which the body is balanced on the extreme tip of the toe. Classes in pointe are offered only to advanced studetns with permission from the instructor. Dancers are required to take two ballet classes per week due to the strength and repetition that is required to master the ability to dance on pointe without the use of the barre for support.
Attire: Leotard, fitted t-shirt, tights, leggings, ballet slippers/pointe shoes.
