Ann Recotta – Administrative Manager
Ann Recotta will be leaving 171 Cedar Arts Center; her last day is on March 22nd. While we are very sad that Ann is leaving us, we are excited for her next chapter as Education and Volunteer Programs Coordinator at the Rockwell Museum. Ann has served as the Administrative Manager for nearly 3 years and has become a familiar face at the front desk in the Drake House lobby. Ann will only be a block away, and she promises to visit us from time to time. We are sure that we will continue to see Ann at 171 Cedar Arts Center classes, events, and exhibit openings!
Despite losing Ann, we are pleased to announce that Adam Setzer, currently a part-time Administrative Associate, will be our new Administrative Manager, effective April 1, 2019. Adam has done a great job in his current role, and is already familiar with many aspects of the role. Please join us in congratulating Adam!
Adam Setzer – Administrative Manager
Adam studied English at Mansfield University, where he served as a tutor and the social media manager for his department. He’s also worked at the Corning Museum of Glass where he’s grown an affinity for both glass and museums. He enjoys writing and trying to make people laugh.
Additional Farewells from the 171 Front Desk
We are also saying farewell to several of our part-time administrative staff members. Lisa Feist has been promoted to a new position at Corning Incorporated, so will not be able to join our team in the evenings going forward. Allison Duncan will be working with Bluebird Trail Farms, guiding school tours and teaching about sustainable farming. We wish Lisa and Allison all the best in their new positions, and we will miss them as part of the 171 Cedar Arts Center team!
