Martha Teaches: Introduction to Clay and Handbuilding Workshops
Martha Manikas-Foster is a writer, broadcaster, and potter living in Corning, NY who uses slips, underglazes, and carving tools to decorate her thrown and hand-built ceramics. Martha’s work has been included in numerous art exhibitions and events in the area including the Arnot Art Museum’s Gallery Gala and the Museum’s Holiday Art Market, 171 Cedar Art Center’s Artful Exhibits, Summer Mosaic, and annual Student & Faculty Exhibitions. She is a member of the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes where she regularly displays her work. Martha teaches one-day ceramics workshops in the art center’s ceramics studio.
