| Hello 171 Summer Camp Families! We would like to invite you to visit 171 this Friday afternoon for a great wrap-up of The Art of Summer 2025! What an incredible summer of artmaking! Your children have filled our studios with laughter and our gallery walls with colorful artwork…creating one of the most charming exhibitions ever to be displayed in the Houghton Gallery. Unlike most of our exhibitions, where all the works are up from day one, this collection of works has been added to as the summer has progressed. So rather than a typical exhibit opening, we would like to invite you all to our gallery closing this Friday, August 22 from 3:30-5:00 pm. Come enjoy some refreshments, see camp friends, and help us wrap up another fun, artful summer at 171! If you’re able to come by 171 at 2:30 on Friday, our annual 171 Theater Camp will be doing their final performance. It’s a great chance to see what our theater students have been working on for the last two weeks. It’s always a lot of fun and a lot of laughs! Bring your family and enjoy a great, art-filled afternoon at 171! We look forward to seeing you Friday! Sincerely, The 171 Faculty & Staff * You will be able to take home your child’s displayed artwork then! * Note that not all ceramics pieces have been fired. We will reach out to you once they are ready for pick up! |
